Originally from London, I’ve been living in Brunswick since 2004. What was meant to be a holiday [sorry Mum] turned into the best move I ever made. I instantly fell in love with Melbourne and have been here ever since.

I decided to become a marriage celebrant because I’d seen friends married by people – lovely as they were – who just didn’t get them.

Weddings should be as unique and diverse as the people getting married. And it should be fun! The ceremony shouldn’t be something you just “get through” for the party on the other side.

I’m all about connection. The things that make your relationship special, but also the connection between us – because if I’m going to do your story justice, we’ve got to have chemistry too, right?

I'll give you a ceremony that's relaxed, funny, and most importantly, will keep your guests engaged and entertained from start to finish. Meaningful, not schmaltzy, and totally "you". And with years of experience under my belt, it takes a lot to phase me.

Whether you’re planning an intimate backyard wedding, an elopement, or a full on wedding extravaganza, I’m here to make it exactly what you want.

I'm happy to travel anywhere in Melbourne, regionally and interstate for your wedding day. (I’m even authorised in the USA if you want to take me on holiday!)

LET'S TALK ABOUT
YOUR WEDDING...

GOOD TO KNOW

What you’ll need to complete the Notice of Intended Marriage paperwork:

  • Birth certificate, or official extract, or

  • Australian or foreign passport

  • Evidence that a previous marriage had ended (death, divorce or annulment)

  • Proof of ID

If you have any problem getting these documents, please get in touch before we meet, and we can work something out.

The earliest you can get married is one month after submitting a Notice of Intended Marriage. This can be shortened, but only in these cases:

  • employment related or other travel commitments

  • wedding or celebration arrangements, or religious considerations

  • medical reasons

  • legal proceedings, or

  • an error in giving notice.

Proud ally of the LGBTQIA+ community, and thrilled to marry all humans to the human they love.

I acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land where I live, the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin nation.  I celebrate the diversity of Aboriginal peoples and their ongoing cultures and connections to the lands where I work.

I pay my respects to Elders past and present, and acknowledge that sovereignty was never ceded.
